2. Scope of the Terms and Conditions

2.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the terms of product sales through the online store operated by the Service Provider, as well as the rights and obligations arising from sales contracts concluded electronically between the Service Provider and the Customer.

2.2. These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by the Customer through the online store, regardless of whether the product is available from stock or produced specifically upon order.

2.3. All orders placed through the online store are subject exclusively to these Terms and Conditions. The Service Provider shall accept any terms deviating from these Terms and Conditions only on the basis of a written agreement.

2.4. The online store currently delivers exclusively within the territory of Hungary.

2.5. Purchases made through the online store constitute contracts concluded electronically. The language of the contract shall be the language used when placing the order.

2.6. The contract shall not be deemed to have been concluded in writing and shall not be separately filed by the Service Provider. Order data and electronic communications relating to the conclusion of the contract shall be available electronically to the Service Provider and the Customer in accordance with applicable legislation and the Service Provider's systems.

2.7. Matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed in particular by the following legislation:

  • Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code;
  • Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules governing contracts between consumers and businesses;
  • Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues relating to electronic commerce services;
  • Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection;
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR), as well as other applicable legislation concerning the processing of personal data.

3. Products Sold Through the Online Store

3.1. The Service Provider primarily sells its own decorative and interior products through the online store.

3.2. Some products offered are immediately available from stock, while others are produced exclusively upon order. Information regarding product availability, expected production time and delivery time is provided on the online store or, where necessary, by the Service Provider.

3.3. Product photographs, visualisations, computer-generated renders and other illustrations displayed in the online store are intended to present the products as accurately as reasonably possible but are provided for informational purposes only. Due to differences in the settings of displays, monitors and mobile devices, the colour, shade or surface appearance of products may differ slightly from their actual appearance.

3.4. Minor variations may occur in the dimensions, colour, surface and other aesthetic characteristics of products as a result of the manufacturing technology, the characteristics of the materials used or the manufacturing process. Such minor variations that are consistent with the product description and intended use shall be considered natural manufacturing characteristics of the product.

3.5. A significant proportion of the products sold by the Service Provider are manufactured using 3D printing technology. Natural characteristics of this process may include fine layer lines, minor variations in surface texture or other characteristics resulting from the manufacturing process. Such characteristics that are consistent with the product description and intended use shall be considered natural characteristics of the technology.

3.6. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the technical specifications, dimensions, colour options, packaging or other characteristics of products to be sold in the future, provided that such changes do not affect the intended use or quality of the product. Such changes shall not affect products included in orders that have already been confirmed.

3.7. Prices displayed in the online store are stated in Hungarian forints (HUF) and are gross prices including VAT at the rate applicable under current legislation. Delivery costs, where applicable, are indicated separately during the ordering process.

3.8. The Service Provider makes all reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, prices and other information displayed in the online store are accurate. Prices, descriptions or other data resulting from obvious technical or administrative errors shall not constitute an offer, and the Service Provider reserves the right to correct such errors.

4. Ordering Process

4.1. Purchases through the online store may be initiated using a registered customer account or without registration.

4.2. The Customer may add the selected product to the cart in the desired quantity and then enter the information required to fulfil the order at checkout, select the desired delivery and payment method, and review the order details.

4.3. Before submitting the order, the Customer has the opportunity to modify the information provided, the contents of the cart and other order details.

4.4. By submitting an order, the Customer makes an offer to purchase the selected products subject to a payment obligation.

4.5. Upon receipt of the order, the Service Provider shall confirm receipt electronically by means of an automatic confirmation email. If the confirmation does not arrive within 48 hours of submitting the order, the Customer shall be released from the obligation to remain bound by the offer.

4.6. Confirmation of receipt of an order does not in itself constitute conclusion of the contract. The sales contract shall be concluded when the Service Provider accepts the order in a separate electronic communication or begins fulfilment of the order.

4.7. The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse fulfilment of an order in whole or in part if:

  • the information provided in the order is incomplete or clearly incorrect;
  • the product is unavailable and cannot reasonably be procured or manufactured within a reasonable period;
  • fulfilment of the order would violate applicable law;
  • there are reasonable grounds to believe that the order was placed abusively or without a genuine intention to purchase.

4.8. If fulfilment of an order is prevented by an obstacle, the Service Provider shall inform the Customer as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available solutions.

4.9. The Customer is obliged to provide true and accurate information when placing an order. The Service Provider shall not be liable for delays, unsuccessful delivery or other damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Customer.

4.10. The Service Provider is entitled to contact the Customer using the contact details provided by the Customer where necessary for fulfilment of the order and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5. Payment Methods

5.1. The Service Provider may provide the following payment methods through the online store:

  • online credit or debit card payment;
  • cash on delivery.

5.2. The availability of individual payment methods may depend on the selected delivery method, delivery address and other characteristics of the order. The payment options available for a particular order are displayed at checkout.

5.3. Online payments are processed with the involvement of an external payment service provider. The payment service provider operates according to its own terms and conditions and privacy policy during payment transactions. The Service Provider does not store the bank card details provided during card payments.

5.4. If cash on delivery is selected, the Customer shall pay the purchase price and any applicable cash-on-delivery fee upon delivery using the payment methods provided by the delivery service provider.

5.5. The Service Provider shall fulfil the order following successful confirmation of payment, except in the case of cash-on-delivery orders.

5.6. The Service Provider reserves the right to temporarily or permanently restrict or discontinue certain payment methods or introduce new payment methods. The payment options currently available shall always be displayed at checkout.

6. Delivery

6.1. The Service Provider arranges delivery of ordered products through external logistics partner(s) and/or their contracted courier services.

6.2. The Service Provider currently delivers exclusively within the territory of Hungary.

6.3. Depending on the size and weight of the order and the delivery address, the Customer may choose from home delivery, parcel point or parcel locker options. The delivery options available for the specific order and the applicable delivery fee are displayed at checkout.

6.4. For products available from stock, the Service Provider aims to process orders and hand them over to the delivery partner as soon as reasonably possible. For made-to-order or individually manufactured products, the production time is indicated on the product page or in the order confirmation.

6.5. The Service Provider aims to comply with the processing and dispatch deadlines stated in the online store or during the ordering process. The Service Provider cannot directly control the delivery time of the delivery partner. In the event of a delay attributable to the delivery partner, the Service Provider nevertheless aims to provide the Customer with appropriate information and assist in resolving the issue.

6.6. The Customer is obliged to provide a delivery address and contact details that allow successful delivery. Any additional costs resulting from unsuccessful delivery due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Customer may be charged to the Customer.

6.7. The Customer is obliged to visually inspect the parcel upon receipt. If the packaging shows visible damage that may indicate damage to the product, the Customer is advised to inspect the parcel in the presence of the courier and, where necessary, request a damage report. Any damage occurring during delivery must be reported to the Service Provider without undue delay after it is discovered.

6.8. If the Customer fails to accept the ordered product through their own fault and the parcel is consequently returned to the Service Provider, the Service Provider shall be entitled to request reimbursement of the additional costs incurred and/or withdraw from fulfilling the order.

6.9. Upon receipt of the product, the risk of loss or damage shall pass to the Customer, subject to the provisions of applicable consumer protection legislation.

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1. A Customer qualifying as a consumer shall have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason in accordance with applicable legislation.

7.2. The Customer shall have the right to withdraw from the sales contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date on which the product is received.

7.3. If the Customer purchases several products in one order and the products are delivered at different times, the withdrawal period shall begin on the day on which the last product is received.

7.4. The right of withdrawal may be exercised in accordance with Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.). The Customer may notify the Service Provider of their intention to withdraw by means of an unequivocal statement sent electronically or by post. The Service Provider also provides a model withdrawal form as an annex to these Terms and Conditions, but its use is not mandatory.

7.5. If the Customer exercises the right of withdrawal, the Customer shall return or hand over the product to the Service Provider without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which the withdrawal was communicated.

7.6. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the product is safely packaged for return. The Customer shall be liable for any damage resulting from inadequate packaging.

7.7. The Customer may only use the product to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality. If the returned product shows damage, wear, contamination, deformation or other depreciation resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the product, the Service Provider shall be entitled to assess the depreciation of the product in full and determine the amount to be refunded accordingly. The Customer shall be liable for any depreciation resulting from use of the product beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.

7.8. The Service Provider reserves the right to inspect and document the condition of returned products in detail. If the inspection establishes that the product has been damaged or depreciated as a result of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality, the Service Provider shall be entitled to take this into account when determining the amount to be refunded.

7.9. Following receipt of the Customer's withdrawal notice, the Service Provider shall refund the amount paid by the Customer without undue delay and no later than 14 days, including the cost of delivery, except for any additional costs resulting from the Customer having chosen a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method offered by the Service Provider.

7.10. The direct cost of returning the product shall be borne by the Customer unless the Service Provider has expressly agreed to bear such cost.

7.11. The Service Provider may withhold the refund until it has received the product back or the Customer has provided credible evidence that the product has been returned, whichever occurs earlier.

7.12. The Customer shall not have the right of withdrawal in cases specified by law, in particular in relation to products manufactured according to the Customer's express request or individual instructions or personalised for the Customer, as well as in the additional cases specified in Section 29 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.).

8. Statutory Warranty for Defects

8.1. In the event of defective performance by the Service Provider, the Customer may assert statutory warranty claims against the Service Provider in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code.

8.2. The Service Provider performs defectively if, at the time of performance, the product does not comply with the quality requirements specified in the contract or by law, or does not possess the characteristics specified by the Service Provider in the product description.

8.3. A product shall not be considered defective where the complaint concerns a characteristic, variation or damage that:

  • is clearly identifiable from the product description, dimensions, characteristics or photographs displayed on the website;
  • is a natural characteristic resulting from 3D printing technology and does not prevent the intended use of the product;
  • is a minor surface, shape or dimensional variation resulting from the individual manufacturing process and is consistent with the advertised characteristics and intended use of the product;
  • is a minor difference between the actual colour of the product and the colour displayed on the website due to the display settings of a screen, monitor or mobile device;
  • results from normal use, natural wear or changes in the condition of the product over time;
  • results from improper, unprofessional or otherwise inappropriate use contrary to the product description or instructions;
  • results from improper storage, cleaning, maintenance or handling;
  • results from external mechanical impact, impact, dropping, pressure or other physical damage;
  • results from inappropriate heat exposure, open flame, excessive temperature or other environmental effects outside the intended use of the product;
  • results from exposure to inappropriate moisture, water or other liquids where the product was not specifically designed for such use;
  • results from modification, repair, gluing, painting, drilling, machining or other intervention carried out by the Customer or a third party.

8.4. In the case of products manufactured using 3D printing technology, visible printing layers, minor surface irregularities, small surface variations and minor differences in shape or dimensions between individual pieces may be natural characteristics of the manufacturing technology. Such characteristics shall not in themselves constitute defective performance provided that they do not prevent the intended use of the product and do not affect its essential characteristics.

8.5. Product images displayed on the website are primarily intended to present the appearance of the product. Due to differences in the settings of monitors and other displays, the actual colour shade may differ slightly from the image displayed on the website. Such minor colour differences resulting from the technical characteristics of displays shall not constitute defective performance.

8.6. The Customer shall inspect the product upon receipt to the extent reasonably expected and shall notify the Service Provider of any defect discovered without undue delay.

8.7. When reporting a statutory warranty claim, the Service Provider may request a precise description of the defect and photographic or video documentation. Where necessary to assess the defect, the Service Provider may request the return of the product or that the product be made available for personal inspection.

8.8. The Service Provider shall examine the statutory warranty claim and, where necessary, investigate whether the reported defect can be attributed to a defect existing at the time of performance.

8.9. If the investigation establishes that the reported problem does not result from defective performance but, for example, from improper use, improper handling, external impact or modification carried out by the Customer, the Service Provider may refuse to fulfil the statutory warranty claim.

8.10. In contracts between a consumer and a business, a statutory warranty claim shall expire two years after the date of performance. In the case of a defect recognised within one year of performance, it shall be presumed, under the conditions specified by law, that the defect existed at the time of performance.

8.11. Under a statutory warranty claim and subject to the conditions specified by law, the Customer may primarily request repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not possible or the statutory conditions are met, the Customer may request a price reduction or may be entitled to withdraw from the contract.

8.12. The exercise of statutory warranty rights shall otherwise be governed by the provisions of the Civil Code as in force from time to time.

9. Product Warranty

9.1. A Customer qualifying as a consumer may, in the event of a defect in a product and subject to the statutory conditions, assert a product warranty claim against the manufacturer or distributor of the product.

9.2. For the purposes of product warranty, a product shall be considered defective if it does not comply with the quality requirements applicable at the time it was placed on the market or does not possess the characteristics specified in the description provided by the manufacturer.

9.3. Under a product warranty claim, the Customer may request only the repair or replacement of the defective product.

9.4. The following shall not in particular be considered manufacturing defects or defects giving rise to a product warranty claim:

  • a variation identifiable from the product description, dimensions or other advertised characteristics displayed on the website;
  • a natural manufacturing characteristic resulting from 3D printing technology, including visible printing layers, minor surface irregularities or other minor variations inherent in the manufacturing technology;
  • minor variations in shape, dimensions or surface between individual products resulting from the manufacturing process, provided that they do not prevent the intended use of the product;
  • a minor difference in colour shade from the colour displayed on the website due to the technical characteristics or settings of a monitor, mobile phone or other display;
  • deterioration resulting from normal or intended use or natural wear;
  • deterioration resulting from improper or unprofessional use of the product;
  • deterioration resulting from improper storage, cleaning or maintenance;
  • damage resulting from external mechanical impact, impact, dropping, pressure or other physical damage;
  • damage resulting from inappropriate heat exposure, open flame, excessive temperature or other environmental effects outside the intended use of the product;
  • damage resulting from exposure to inappropriate moisture, water or other liquids where the product was not designed for such use;
  • damage resulting from modification, repair, gluing, painting, drilling, machining or other intervention carried out by the Customer or a third party;
  • damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions contained in the product's user instructions, product description or handling and usage instructions provided by the Service Provider.

9.5. In the case of products manufactured using 3D printing technology, minor surface and shape variations arising from the nature of the manufacturing process shall not in themselves constitute grounds for a product warranty claim, provided that the product complies with the quality requirements applicable at the time it was placed on the market and its essential characteristics and intended usability are not affected.

9.6. When asserting a product warranty claim, the Customer must prove that the product is defective and that the defect existed at the time the product was placed on the market.

9.7. The manufacturer or distributor shall be exempt from product warranty liability if they prove that:

  • they did not manufacture or place the product on the market in the course of their business activities;
  • the defect could not have been recognised according to the state of scientific and technical knowledge at the time the product was placed on the market; or
  • the defect resulted from the application of legislation or a mandatory official requirement.

9.8. A product warranty claim may be asserted within two years from the date on which the product was placed on the market by the manufacturer. After this period has expired, no product warranty claim may be asserted.

9.9. If the Customer asserts a product warranty claim against the manufacturer or distributor of the product, the Customer shall, at the request of the Service Provider, adequately substantiate the defect, in particular by providing a description of the defect and photographic documentation. Where necessary to assess the defect, the Service Provider may request the return or inspection of the product.

9.10. The further conditions for asserting a product warranty claim and the liability of the manufacturer and distributor shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil Code as in force from time to time.

9.11. The Customer may not assert a statutory warranty claim and a product warranty claim simultaneously in respect of the same defect. However, following a successful product warranty claim, the Customer may assert a statutory warranty claim against the manufacturer in respect of the replacement product or repaired part.

10. Complaints

10.1. The Customer may submit a complaint using the following contact details:

  • E-mail: info@monoroom.hu
  • Postal address: 6913 Csanádpalota, Muskátli utca 45.

10.2. In order to facilitate a faster and more effective investigation, the Customer is advised to include their name, contact details, order number, subject and detailed description of the complaint, as well as photographs or other evidence where relevant.

10.3. The Service Provider shall investigate the complaint within the statutory time limit and inform the Customer in writing of the outcome of the investigation.

10.4. During the investigation of a complaint, the Service Provider may request additional information, photographs or, where necessary, the return of the product.

10.5. If the complaint cannot be resolved between the Customer and the Service Provider, the Customer shall be entitled to exercise the consumer protection and other legal remedies provided by law, including referring the matter to a conciliation body.

10.6. The current contact details of the conciliation bodies are available on the official information platforms of the consumer protection authority and the conciliation bodies.

10.7. The Service Provider aims to resolve Customer complaints primarily through direct and amicable settlement.

11. Data Processing

11.1. The Service Provider processes Customers' personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR).

11.2. The detailed rules governing the processing of personal data are set out in the Service Provider's separate Privacy Policy, which is continuously available in the online store.

11.3. The Privacy Policy includes in particular:

11.4. The Service Provider processes personal data exclusively for the purposes and under the conditions specified in the Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable legislation.

11.5. The Privacy Policy is a separate document from these Terms and Conditions. The processing of Customers' personal data shall be governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

12. Cookies

12.1. The online store may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure proper operation, improve the user experience and provide certain functions.

12.2. The purposes, types and retention periods of cookies, as well as the rights and options relating to cookie management, are set out in the Service Provider's separate Privacy Policy.

12.3. Non-essential cookies shall only be used with the Customer's prior consent where required by applicable law.

12.4. The Service Provider uses cookies in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the provisions of the separate Privacy Policy. A Cookie Policy is continuously available in the online store.

13. Final Provisions

13.1. The Service Provider shall be entitled to amend these Terms and Conditions. Amendments shall take effect from the date of publication in the online store and shall apply to orders placed after the amendments have entered into force.

13.2. The Service Provider shall endeavour to inform Customers appropriately of any amendments to the Terms and Conditions; however, the Customer is responsible for reviewing the Terms and Conditions in force before placing an order.

13.3. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions becomes invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the document. The affected provision shall be replaced by a provision compliant with applicable law.

13.4. Matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by applicable Hungarian legislation, in particular the Civil Code and legislation concerning consumer protection, electronic commerce and data protection.

13.5. These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on:

Effective date: September 22, 2026.
